Worsley Wanderers are winners of the Manchester FA flexi-league cup. A well fought final at Avro FC stadium saw the girls give it their absolute all on the pitch, with the dynamic strike force of Rachel, Caz and Rochelle linking up beautifully to score a great team goal during the first half. An unlucky own goal gave the opponents 1-1 draw during the second half meaning that the game ended with a draw and went straight to pens.
Leah pulled out a worldie performance in goal aswell as bagging a pen, and the team pulled out some amazing pens to keep us in it and the game was dramatically won in sudden death.
